How we roast

We roast our coffee fresh on demand in small batches in Zurich. With dedicated roast profiles for both filter coffee and espresso, we ensure the perfect balance of fruit, texture, and harmony. The beans reach optimal drinking maturity after 10 days and peaking at around 3 weeks.

How should I store my coffee to maintain freshness?
No experiments. Keep them in the original package and store them in a place with moderate temperature and without direct sunlight. Do not put them in the fridge as the environment is too humid!
Do you offer different grind sizes for various brewing methods?
No, we only offer whole beans to make sure the coffee keeps all its flavors and stays fresh as long as possible.
What is the best brewing method for your coffee?
We always try to get the best out of the bean. That's why we offer certain varieties exclusively as espresso or filter coffee. You can find this information in the description above.
What kind of roasting process does Hilde use?
We roast our coffee using a state-of-the-art small batch drum roaster, which allows precise control over the process to highlight the unique flavors of each bean. This ensures maximum freshness and consistency in every batch.
