FAQ

How fresh are the beans when I receive them?
All our coffee beans are roasted on-demand. This way we make sure they reach you fresh - probably too fresh.
How long should the beans rest after roasting?
The beans reach optimal drinking maturity 10 days after roasting and peak at around 3 weeks. The roast date is indicated on the package.
How should I store my coffee to maintain freshness?
No experiments. Keep them in the original package and store them in a place with moderate temperature and without direct sunlight. Do not put them in the fridge as the environment is too humid!
Do you offer different grind sizes for various brewing methods?
No, we only offer whole beans to make sure the coffee keeps all its flavors and stays fresh as long as possible.
What is the best brewing method for your coffee?
We always try to get the best out of the bean. That's why we offer certain varieties exclusively as espresso or filter coffee. You can find this information in the description above.
What kind of roasting process does Hilde use?
We roast our coffee using a state-of-the-art small batch drum roaster, which allows precise control over the process to highlight the unique flavors of each bean. This ensures maximum freshness and consistency in every batch.
